A delightful antique Edwardian bracelet consisting of three 15ct gold chains adorned with an alternating pattern of shamrocks, lady birds and pigs! The lady birds are highlighted with red and black guilloche enamelling and the shamrocks are topped with cultured pearls and green enamel.
The combination of images appears random but likely had some significance to the original owner. Shamrocks are usually associated with luck and good fortune and each leaf represents faith, hope and love.
It’s a wonderful find, displaying a sweet collection of charms with skilful enamel artistry that has remained in great condition. It dates to the early 20th Century and is held securely with a ring clasp at the end.
We recommend you insure for £2,000. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
