This wonderful Antique Victorian Suffragette pendant has been modelled in 9ct Yellow Gold. It is set with a magnificent 3ct central Amethyst which is surrounded by three further Amethysts and three Peridots, all of which weight 0.25ct each. Nestled between the outer stones is a halo of fantastic Pearls and finally a gorgeous Pearl dropper hangs below.
The central Amethyst shows an interesting inclusion within, a great example of ‘nature’s fingerprints.’
Suffragette jewellery was worn to show one’s allegiance to the women’s Suffragette movement in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Purple, Green and White stones which symbolised: Purple for Loyalty, White for Purity and Green for Hope.
